Jonnymidd himself describes it as an “oriental odyssey” inspired by his homeland, which gives a good clue to the intention behind the track.

Etheria is a three-track EP by Jonnymidd, released on 5 August 2025. It contains “Etheria,” “Etheria 2” and “Etheria 3,” with a combined running time of about 11 minutes. All three tracks are listed as Electronica at 125 BPM in G major. 

What makes Etheria interesting is that Jonnymidd treats it almost as one musical idea explored three different ways.

It was released on 14 February 2025 and is actually a three-track release built around the same central composition: “Evolution (A Fanfare for Mankind),” “Evolution (Radio Edit)” and “Evolution (Turn It Up)”. 

The original is 4:00, the Radio Edit is 3:38, and Turn It Up is 4:04. All three are Electronica, 125 BPM, in C major. 

The title “A Fanfare for Mankind” is important. It suggests something big, celebratory and optimistic—almost as though the music is announcing a new chapter for humanity.

“Dissolution” is a particularly interesting Jonnymidd single because, judging from where it sits in his catalogue, it belongs to the period where his sound was becoming increasingly atmospheric, melodic and cinematic. It appears alongside Nebula, Serendipity, Houston and Morpheus, before Pralaya and Requiem. 

The title gives you a good clue. Dissolution suggests something gradually breaking apart, disappearing or transforming, and I'd describe the track as having that kind of emotional character.
